The Metropolitan Detroit Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators was formed to provide support to professionals involved in the management of law firms, corporate legal departments, and government legal agencies.  Our mission is to improve the quality of management in legal services organizations; promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of legal administrators as well as members of the management team; and, represent professional legal management and managers to the legal community and to the community at large.

Andrew Marcec has built a successful career in working with technology.  From managing Oracle databases, to helping Fortune 500 companies transition to the latest technologies as the markets evolved, he has seen it all.   Now with Winscribe, Andrew is working hard to make sure all their clients are maximizing their technological resources to the fullest.  He is a runner and avid reader in his spare time.
Rudy Varela has been involved in the voice processing industry since 1979 with 15 years experience at Dictaphone Corporation and now at VarTec.   Since 1995, VarTec has been providing digital dictation solutions to enhance medical clinics, serve the legal community, assist law enforcement, record court proceedings, and apply voice technology to other business and government leaders.  With over 30 years of experience in Michigan, they are constantly reviewing new products and technology internally and through our associations with partners and industry groups.
